History of Alwand Vahan

Alwand Vahan is a New York based company founded by a French designer, Leon Calousdian (better known as Sacha). The Calousdian family has connections in the jewelry business going back 4 generations dating back to the 1800's. After graduating from Chambre Syndicale de la Bijouterie in Paris, France, Sacha moved to New York in the early 60s. And in 1968, Sacha Calousdian launched his first collection of jewelry, thus starting this cutting edge yet elegant line of jewelry. Now his son, Greg, has joined in this family line of jewelers making it the 5th generation. Greg is sure to bring many new and exciting designs in the future.
